— Todd Zegers CEO of CXTEC

SYRACUSE, NY, UNITED STATES, August 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- CXTEC, a leading provider of sustainable IT lifecycle solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with TDW UAE to establish a secure technology processing operation in Dubai. The partnership will expand the CXTEC ability to serve customers throughout the Middle East while strengthening its global capabilities across IT asset disposition (ITAD), technology refurbishment, depot repair and value recovery.

CXTEC will operate within a dedicated and secure area inside TDW’s 80,000-square-foot, R2-certified facility. The operation will combine the CXTEC global IT lifecycle expertise, security standards and customer-focused processes with TDW’s experienced regional workforce, operational infrastructure and established business network.

“This partnership represents an important step in our continued global expansion and our commitment to supporting customers wherever their technology assets are located,” said Todd Zegers, CEO of CXTEC. “Dubai is a critical gateway connecting the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific. By partnering with TDW, we can provide our clients with an R2 Certified, secure, scalable and strategically located operation that improves service responsiveness, reduces unnecessary transportation and helps maximize the financial and environmental value of their IT assets.”

The Dubai operation will support a comprehensive range of services, including secure asset receipt and processing, data-bearing device handling, testing, refurbishment, depot repair, remarketing and responsible disposition. CXTEC will also leverage TDW’s regional team members, infrastructure and business relationships to optimize execution and accelerate the growth of its ITAD strategy throughout the Middle East.

“We are pleased to partner with CXTEC and bring together two organizations with complementary capabilities and a shared commitment to security, quality and responsible technology management,” said Ali Musleem, Vice President of TDW. “TDW’s regional operating experience and R2-certified infrastructure, combined with CXTEC’s global customer relationships and IT lifecycle expertise, create a powerful platform for serving organizations across Dubai and the broader Middle East. We look forward to helping CXTEC deliver consistent, high-quality solutions to its customers throughout the region.”

In addition to supporting regional ITAD and repair requirements, the Dubai facility will serve as a strategic hub for the resale of refurbished enterprise technology into Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), as well as the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Access to these markets will allow CXTEC to identify the strongest available resale channels for recovered equipment, helping customers achieve higher asset recovery values while extending the useful life of technology.

The partnership also supports the growing demand from multinational enterprises, data centers, technology manufacturers, government entities and other organizations for secure and sustainable IT asset management solutions. By processing assets closer to where they are deployed, CXTEC can help customers simplify regional logistics, improve turnaround times, reduce transportation-related environmental impacts and maintain greater consistency across their global IT lifecycle programs.

“Our goal is to help customers do more with their technology investments at every stage of the IT lifecycle,” Zegers added. “This new capability strengthens our ability to securely manage retired assets, return valuable equipment to productive use and deliver measurable financial and sustainability benefits. TDW gives us the right operational foundation and regional expertise to build a meaningful long-term presence in this important market.”
The Dubai operation will become part of the broader global service network from CXTEC and will be supported by the well-established operational, compliance, reporting and customer-management capabilities from CXTEC.
